A householder came to us urgently seeking help in rectifying a complex situation relating to past changes at his listed house: works had been undertaken in the past without the necessary consent, and this only became an issue during the failed sale of the house. We assessed the property and the history, and prepared a listed building consent application with supporting information to seek retrospective consent. All the changes were approved under delegated powers within the statutory period.
