Listed buildings and heritage issues

The practice is particularly experienced in projects relating to listed buildings. Much work has been undertaken for Grade I, II* and II buildings, in close collaboration with architects and heritage officers. Extensions, change of use and internal work to listed buildings have been obtained through sensitive negotiations, or through the appeal process.

The practice regularly undertakes heritage appraisals for many clients, including for the well-known London Estates. Clients appreciate advice on how a scheme can be progressed and adapted to meet their needs whilst respecting the building, rather than merely pointing out the difficulties with the historic building. Experience on listed buildings and conservation matters stems from 25 years' experience successful working on projects throughout the South East.
