Planning permission has been granted for the creation of two retail units to an existing property within Sunninghill High Street, with a large first floor extension to provide two new flats. The site is a prominent one in the centre of the village and will provide two good-sized shops for local businesses. A key issue was parking and access to the properties, and after significant work on those matters the application was approved by the Planning Committee.

We were involved as an expert witness on town planning matters regarding the enfranchisement of a large property in Kensington. The price to be paid for the acquisition of the freehold was disputed and the matter determined by the Tribunal. Our evidence was part of the case that saw a very substantial reduction in the price payable by our client for the freehold.
