We are pleased to have obtained planning permission at appeal for a large extension to the rear of a house in Kew, London.
The local Council, Richmond upon Thames, refused permission for the extension on the grounds of harm to the property, the wider area and to neighbouring amenity. The Inspector agreed with the case put at appeal that the proposal would in fact fit within the character of the area and be a good, modern design. We also demonstrated there would not be any harmful impact on the neighbours, who had objected to the scheme.
Client: private householder
Permission has been granted for a replacement house on a private road in Sunningdale. The project saw a substantial increase in the size of the property. Sensitive issues to address were trees, access and the effect on neighbours.
