Small schemes can sometimes be the most complex.... we recently assisted in achieving a 'prior approval' for a rear extension to a house in the LB Richmond. Householders can take advantage of relaxed permitted development rights for larger extensions, but only if they follow the correct process in notifying the Council and ensuring any scheme meets the required regulations. We advised a householder on this process and achieved a large extension, despite difficulties from local residents.
