A client had converted his house into flats a number of years ago. He wanted to rent them out, but he could not do this without any formal grant of planning permission or confirmation from the Council that the use was lawful. We were asked to establish the lawfulness of the case, and we advised and prepared a detailed submission to the Council. The Certificate of Lawfulness was approved by RBKC within 8 weeks.
