Planning permission has been granted for a ground floor extension to a property in Notting Hill. This will serve a ground floor flat, and the roof of the extension will be a new terrace for the first floor flat. Two pre-application submissions had been made by architects, which raised a number of tricky issues still to be resolved. We were asked to present the case in relation to the strict RBKC policies. Permission was granted at the local level within 8 weeks.
