A small project, but successfully completed for the client. A very plain lodge house building serving a country estate in Cambridgeshire was to be remodelled by an architect. The planning authority raised numerous concerns on the design and the new work. We were involved in demonstrating why the changes were correct for the building, the estate, and in relation to planning policies. From an initial outright 'never' position, the authority granted permission under delegated powers.
