Large basements in Kensington & Chelsea have been top news for some years; we were involved in some of the very earliest many years ago, setting precedents for interpretation of planning policies in the Borough. As policy tightens up, we were pleased to receive permission for a double basement with swimming pool. We successfully argued why the Council's usual requirement for site coverage and depth of basement should not apply in this instance, and the project was unanimously approved at Committee.
