We have recently been granted planning permission and listed building consent for the demolition of a rear closet wing and erection of a new enlarged closet wing at commercial premises, with flats above, in central Soho, London. The property was suffering from severe neglect and the quality of the accommodation had been subject of an improvement notice, but sensitive negotiations were needed with the planning department to secure an enlarged building, demolition of part of a listed building and ensuring no harm to residential amenity.
