Planning permission has been granted at appeal for extensions at a long-established nursing home within a Conservation Area. The scheme will see additional rooms for residents and improved facilities for staff. Permission had been refused by the Council on the grounds of harm to the conservation area. We demonstrated that the extension would be appropriate to the area, and that there were benefits from the improved healthcare facilities.
